ACDelco 15803358 - C6 Corvette Auxiliary Engine Oil Cooler

Originally used in the 2006-08 Z06 427 7.0L LS7 engines, this heat exchanger was also used in the 2010 and later Dry Sump Grand Sport LS3 applications. Later GM would switch to a different type cooler for LS7 that used the engine coolant from the radiator. For performance track applications this was not a desirable solution and many Corvette owners would convert back to this type of oil cooler to reduce radiator coolant temps. The 2008 and 2009 Grand Sports have a much smaller cooler and this can be used as a direct replacement upgrade. This heat exchanger transfers heat to and from your vehicle’s engine oil to the ambient air.
