Chevrolet Performance 19368612 - SuperMatic 4L70-E 4WD Four-Speed Automatic Transmission

The automatic SuperMatic 4L70-E 4WD transmission is designed to complement any performance 4WD application with exceptional strength and the shift characteristics enthusiasts want. Stronger version than the production-based 4L60-E, features five pinion gear sets, heat treated stator shaft splines, seven plate clutch, and more. It is also capable of handling applications up to 495 lbs-ft of engine torque. This transmission has the capability to use either the Chevrolet Performance stand-alone transmission controller kit 19212657 or the GM Connect-N-Cruise Transmission Controller kit 19257634. Both systems are designed to operate with Chevrolet Performance Parts E67-based engine controller, which operates all of Chevrolet Performance Parts' LS-based crate engines with electronic fuel injection. And, while the systems are designed for "tuning-free" operation right out of the box, they also include optional connections that allow adjusting a number of calibration settings, including shift timing and shift firmness.
