Chevrolet Performance 19368614 - SuperMatic 4L70-E 2WD Four-Speed Automatic Transmission

The automatic SuperMatic™ 4L70-E Four-Speed Automatic Transmission For LT1 Two-Wheel Drive. Stronger version than the production-based 4L70-E, features five pinion gear sets, heat treated stator shaft splines, seven plate clutch, and more. It is also capable of handling applications up to 495 lbs-ft of engine torque. This transmission has the capability to use either the Chevrolet Performance stand-alone transmission controller kit 19212657 or the Chevrolet Performance Transmission Controller kit 19302405. Both systems are designed to operate with Chevrolet Performance Parts E67-based engine controller, which operates all of Chevrolet Performance Parts' LS-based crate engines with electronic fuel injection. And, while the systems are designed for "tuning-free" operation right out of the box, they also include optional connections that allow adjusting a number of calibration settings, including shift timing and shift firmness.
