CONSTRUCTION -Cast in the USA from proprietary 356 Aluminum Ingot, Machined in the USA -Heat treated to T-6 Specifications -Block Tooling has been designed and engineered to eliminate casting inconsistencies RE-INFORCED AREAS INCLUDED -Triple cross braced lifter valley -Extra material added to the front and rear valley walls -Reinforced Deck – 0.750” Thick -Reinforced Main Webbing -Extra material around the lifter bosses for improved strength and lifter bushing upgrades -Extra material in cam tunnel for 60-MM cam bearings if desired STANDARD FEATURES -Standard Deck 9.240” – Shipped at approximately 9.245” to allow final deck height setting -LSX 6-Bolt cylinder head pattern, Works with stock LS cylinder heads also -Shipped at approximately 4.120” bore to allow final finish -Fits early style GM Transmissions and has all 7 mounting points -113-LBS Weight -High strength premium grade USA steel main caps Accepts any LS production front cover, requires the LSX rear cover (P/N - 19166179)and LSX cam plate and o-ring (19244460 & 19166178).
