They're ultra-low-friction needle roller types, and they require so little lubrication that you can actually block off the stock cam oiling holes. Normal "splash" in the crankcase will get the bearings all the oil they require. This reduces both oil aeration and windage losses. Block machining and an SAE 8620 steel camshaft are required.
