Genuine GM Parts 12561721 - LQ9 LQ4 5.3L Camshaft

The GM LQ9/LQ4 camshaft provides excellent torque and power gains over the stock LM7 5.3L stock camshaft. Independent testing by Car Craft magazine showed signifacnt horsepower and torque gains above 4500-RPM with virtually no loss below 3000. The LQ9 cam gained 24HP and more than 20FT-lbs of torque above 4500. We recommend the use of the LS6 spring upgrade from Scoggin Dickey and Chevrolet Performance - Part # 12499224.
