The 5.3L LS based engine was first introduced in 1999 for GM Pick-ups and SUV's. This all aluminum 5.3L long block crate engine is a remanufactured replacement for most 2010 through 2014 Chevrolet and GMC Pick-ups and SUV's. This 5.3L assembly fits most LC9 applications with engine code "3" for Flex Fuel with cylinder deactivation.
