There will also be a spot in the mounting flange that will need to be notched to allow clearance for a coil pack mounting boss. These Hi-Ram style intake manifolds are designed for high performance engine applications with maximum engine speeds of 7000-7500rpm (Carbureted) and 6800-7400rpm (Fuel Injected), depending on the engine combination. These manifolds are intended for maximum performance applications and will not accept stock components and hardware. A modified hood will be required for most vehicle applications.
