NOTE: Removal of MDS parts from your engine requires that the MDS system be disabled in the vehicle’s computer. We have a solution using an OEM Non-MDS camshaft & PredatorX Tuner. We have designed our MDS delete kits to be an all inclusive parts package that will remove MDS from your Hemi engine using high quality parts for supreme reliability. This kit fits all 2009 and newer 6.4 Hemi engines. Kit includes: - Genuine Mopar "Hellcat" lifters and trays - non-MDS - Genuine Mopar MDS plugs - Valve cover gaskets - head gaskets - Head bolts - timing cover and water pump gaskets - front crankshaft seal - Crankshaft bolt and cam bolt - exhaust gaskets - Genuine Mopar non-MDS camshaft - Intake gaskets CAMSHAFT OPTIONS: -This kit comes with the OEM 6.4 Non-MDS camshaft, however, in the options while adding to the cart, you can add any of our dyno-proven Hemi camshafts as a kit! The extra cost of the kit is for the supporting parts to be added to the kit and accounts for the removal of the OEM cam. You cannot install a custom tune on the Predator X! For custom tuning for one of our camshafts you will need a Diablosport Intune I3 or an HP Tuners MPVI device and a custom tune from a reputable tuning shop which we do not offer at this time. SDPC has developed a line of camshafts intended to tap into the potential that Dodge left on the table. The stock 5.7 and 6.4 Hemi are no slouch but power falls off hard at higher RPM . Our line of hemi camshafts will not only increase horsepower significantly, but will carry that power throughout the entire powerband. The stock 6.4 cam makes about the same power as our stage 1, so we recommend that you start with at least a stage 2 if you are looking for a gain. The "Stage 2" camshaft will give you a mildly choppy idle and equal midrange power to the Stage 1 with another 25 hp at 6500 rpm. For 5 speed cars we recommend a 2400+ RPM stall converter. This cam picked up 107 horsepower and 44 lb/ft of torque over stock in a 5.7 and carries power to 6500 with ease. This cam also doubles well as a centrifugal supercharger camshaft, for instance a procharger. Our "Stage 3" cam is the ticket if you want to approach 500hp at the flywheel in your 5.7 car or truck and easily surpass 500hp in your 6.4. For 5 speed cars we recommend a 2400+RPM stall converter, or 2800+ if you’re going to hit the drag strip on slicks. 8-speed cars don’t require a torque converter change. This cam picked up 115 horsepower and 54 lb/ft of torque over the stock 5.7 camshaft. Our "Stage 4" cam is the ticket for over 550hp at the flywheel in your 6.4L car or truck and easily surpass 600hp with supporting mods. For 5 speed cars we recommend a 2400+RPM stall converter, or 2800+ if you’re going to hit the drag strip on slicks. 8-speed cars don’t require a torque converter change. "El Choppo" is one of our most popular 5.7 Hemi camshafts. It’s built to deliver that aggressive cammed idle we all love and make great power without sacrificing drivability. If you want someone to know you’ve rolled up, you want El Choppo. Power gains are right between stage 1 and stage 2, and idle quality is going to make sure everyone knows you’re packing heat. El Choppo gained 92 horsepower and 37 lb/ft of torque. No torque converter change is necessary. Not recommended for 6.4l Hemi. The "Grizzly Tow Power" camshaft is purpose-built for 6.4L HEMI truck owners who use their trucks like they were intended… to tow with. Designed to enhance towing and hauling performance, this cam delivers a substantial torque increase across the entire curve, with a 27 ft-lb gain at 2,900 RPM, right in the heart of the towing RPM range. The "Reaper" camshaft is the one featured in our Hellcat camshaft shootout video. This cam is intended for positive displacement superchargers. This camshaft will give you a mildly choppy idle with horsepower and torque gains across the power band! We picked up 48 horsepower and 23 lb/ft of torque over stock in our dyno tested Hellcat without any optimization to the tuning, and carries power to 7000 RPM with ease.
