This modern 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V-8 uses advanced features such as direct and port fuel injection, twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), high-flow cylinder heads, dual throttle bodies, and a heightened compression ratio to deliver 480 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque (with premium fuel).
